Every day in the month of February, I included a hear on Collin's door to let him know why and how much we love him. He was excited to see what the new heart said each morning. Some examples of what the hearts said where:
- You are funny
- You are loyal
- You are thoughtful
- You are a good friend
- Your smile
- You are helpful
- Your hugs
- Your love of music
- You are athletic
- Burke would not know what to do without you (this was Collin's favorite)
- You are kind
Now that it's March, I am not ready to take it down. I did find myself last night looking through the drawer to pull out the next heart...and then remembered that tomorrow was already March!
Maybe, this is a tradition....until it's embarrassing for him because his friends might see it. OK, on second thought, this year might have been the only year.
