New Mountain House

So....I guess I should explain.  It happened so fast and, with everything else going on, it slipped my mind to post about it until I wrote the last post.  We just closed on a house in New Mexico near Angel Fire last Wednesday.  We bought the house with another couple.  The plan would be to vacation there with them and then separately throughout the year as a family or with other friends.  We do not plan to rent it out so it will stay nice AND available for whenever we want to use it.

The house is 25 years old but in FANTASTIC shape because the prior owners used it infrequently and did not rent it out.  The 3-story, 3,096 square foot house sits on almost 3 acres on its own cul-de-sac.  There are 4 bedrooms and two living areas.  It could use a little updating but it's perfect for a mountain house.

Better view of the back of the house.  Love all of the windows!

Ah.....what a view from the main living area

Master bedroom but will likely be were the kids sleep

I cannot wait to spend some time later this Spring and again this summer at the house.  I can see myself getting a lot of reading and relaxing done while I am not running, hiking or otherwise enjoying the outside, fresh air.
