Last Day of School

Today was Collin's last day of Pre-K.  Here he is with Ms Hansen and Ms Barnes.  What a school year he had.  He has grown up and learned so much during this time.  While he did struggle with being too social in class and disrupting his fellow classmates, he did learn most of his letters which we will continue to work on this summer, the parts of a book, to color better, lots more songs, sorting, grouping and other great skills he will build on in Kindergarten.  In addition, he met and made some great friends this year including Elizabeth, Brody, William Re'Na and Evie.  When I showed up for lunch or other school functions, it was clear to me that the students loved Collin.  Because of this, I know he had a great school year.

When we talked about his last day tonight, he could care less about being a big boy and now a Kindergartener.  I am sure it's because he was focused on picking out books he wanted to read tonight.
