3rd Annual Block Easter Egg Hunt

Yesterday, the kids on the street and friends participated in the annual street Easter egg hunt.  Instead of the neighborhood egg hunt, we like having one on our street so the kids can get more eggs and not get trampled on.  All in the spirit of the holiday, right?  Well, it is nice to watch the kids hunt the eggs while we catch up with the neighbors.

After the egg hunt, the kids get a package of goodies instead of having to open each of the eggs for the candy or prizes.  One smart Mommy figured out that it takes too long to open, stuff and close over 100 eggs.  Plus, the kids don't mind and expect to have candy in the eggs.

This time, there were 5 golden eggs with money in it.  Collin was disappointed that he did not find any of them.  He did find a lot of eggs though and seemed to have fun doing it with some of his really good friends.
Getting ready.  On your mark, get set....
