It feels like football has been over for only a few weeks...oh, and it has! Collin wanted to play basketball and practices started this past Sunday. He will be playing on the Raptors with Coach Young. The coach has twin boys in 2nd grade and we have not met him before. He seems to be really subdued so there will likely not be too much yelling...yeah!
Today, we went to the Home Depot monthly kid's workshop first. He built a gingerbread candy holder which was really cute. He then attended an optional basketball skills clinic for 1 1/2 hours. It was perfect because it was a cold and rainy day. Collin said he had fun. It was a good time for Dad and I to get to know the coach better.
