Summer Camp Time

No school means we, like so many parents, need to figure out what to do with the kids during the week day. We heard about a camp that one of Collin's friends really liked last year so we thought he could try it this week.

You know your child had a good time when you pick him up and he's not ready to leave. He was at the pool so that makes sense. He is a water kid for sure. We let him swim a little longer when he asked up politely if he could stay. 

   

After swimming another 15 minutes, he came over to us to rest and tell us about his day. Sounded like he had a great time playing outside mostly. I love that!  He could have chosen video games, but he wanted to play outside. He said he met a new friend, Tarken. They both like a lot of the same things. He also said the counselors are really nice. Guess he had a great first day.
