We did a little fishing at the Monte Verde lake this morning. It was just recently field with 1000 fish so we thought we would have a possibility of catching some. We ended up not catching any but still had a good time. The boys had a casting contest but that ended quickly after they kept crossing the lines. I had not saved in at least 35 years so it was fun to see if I could cast a line again. Collin surprised I knew what to do.
The boys gave it fishing quickly, in about 20 minutes. Dad and I stayed to fish for another 30 minutes while the boys explored and got in the water ... which is probably one of the reasons we didn't catch any fish. Ha!
We hung around the lake for about two hours before heading back to the house to have a quick lunch.
