Bear Scout Cross Over Ceremony

Tonight is the night the scouts look forward to when I get to cross over the bridge to the next level. It was a really nice night to be outside for this event. We started with pizza and drinks while all the families arrived. Once everyone was there, each leader called out the scout in their den. We had to wait for the Tiger and Wolves before getting to Collin's den, the Bears. The leader handed each scout a Bear patch before they walked across a bridge symbolizing crossing over to the next level. At the other side, there was an older scout painting a yellow and blue stripe on each scout's face. Afterwards, the boys played a little before heading home.
