7 on 7 Football - Last Tournament!

For the last 2+ months, Collin has been playing 7 on 7 touch football. Because he loves tackle football so much, this was a way for him to keep up his technical skills in the off-season. It started out great for him because he had equal playing time until they combined two age groups. Then, he had to start switching out with another player and was only playing five minutes or less during a game. When there are 3 to 4 games in a day, that’s a really long day was such little playtime. He never seemed to mind because he was out there with friends and doing something. For us, on the other hand, it’s extremely hot and makes for a very long day to watch other kid’s play. During one of the four games this Saturday, Collin at least caught a pass during his 3 minutes of play. He gained about 8 yards for the team which we were excited about.
