Christmas with the family

Because we went out of town for Christmas, we had Christmas with the family when we got back.  

Instead of making a fuss about lunch or dinner for everyone, people came over to our house after lunch.  I did have snacks ready to go because I know my family..they will eat if there is food out.  Plus, we did have leftovers from the parties we had over the last two weeks. I served ribbon candy, 3 kinds and colors of Rice Krispy treats of peanut butter, red and green along with crackers, popcorn and 3 kinds of pecans and almonds.  Timmy took the large canister of popcorn home since he had eaten a lot of it last time he was at Holmes house.  Leah ate a hot dog.

After playing a little while, the kids opened their gifts.  Tyson got 2 books and a car, Timmy got a flying Star Wars fighter and Leah got 2 little dolls.  From me, Tyson got a play computer while Timmy and Leah each got different Discovery fake fish tank as Nancy gave Collin. From Harris family, Collin got SUV to put together, little helicopter and small ping pong set while I gave figure of Star Wars Kylo Ren.

Mimi then wanted the traditional picture of her with her grand kids in front of the Christmas tree.  It was hard to get all of the kids to look at the camera (Tyson), smile (Collin) or not have a silly smile (Dustin).  Here are a few of the good ones.
