"Mommy, I did not say poo poo"

Just like most boys I know, Collin is fascinated with poop. He was coming home and saying poop too frequently. We told him that big boys do not say poop unless they have to use the potty. It took him a few days, but we did notice a change in the frequency of use.

Now, instead of talking about it, he updates us at the end of the day by letting us know "Mommy (or Daddy), I did not say poo poo. I'm a big boy" without us even asking him about it. I have told him that he just did say poo poo when he gives me the update. He does not understand this and argues back with me that he didn't.
